
Chewonki is proud to partner with Yogave, a Falmouth-based yoga studio for a unique wilderness yoga retreat. Travel to Chewonki's wilderness camps on Fourth Debsconeag Lake and enjoy four days of yoga, wilderness exploration, delicious food, fun, and friendship.
Our lead instructor, Lisa Maxwell, has been practicing yoga for 7 years and has experience with Bikram, Baptise, Kundalini, Hatha and Anusara yoga. She received her teaching certification in Vinyasa Flow and Hatha yoga from Frog Lotus Yoga in North Adams, Massachusetts. The workshop will focus on Vinyassa Yoga, which is a series of asanas (postures) that work seamlessly with breath to build heat within the body while creating endurance, strength and power. Each posture has multiple alternatives that allow one to choose the most appropriate pose for their body that day, so the practice can be as hard or as easy as you like.
The retreat will provide classes for all levels. Beginners are welcome!

10 AM or 2:00 PM Meet van in Greenville and depart for Camp.
