The Human and Natural History of the Allagash by Canoe
Participants of this fully guided and outfitted canoe camping trip paddle approximately 12 to 18 miles a day through remote lakes and rivers. From Eagle Lake to the village of Allagash, we paddle over lakes, flat water, and exciting rapids as we learn about the human history of this area, beginning with the first Native Americans and continuing through the present-day use by the timber industry.
