Intro to Warm Winter Camping (ages 13-adult)
February 22-24
Have you spent a long winter night shivering in your sleeping bag waiting for the sun to come up? For many folks this is their first and last memory of winter camping. On this trip we will snowshoe into a remote pond set up camp and experience the magic of the winter woods. We will spend our nights in the warm comfort of a canvas wall tent that is heated by a lightweight woodstove. As the sun sets we return to the warmth of our tent and prepare a tasty meal by candlelight.
