Introduction to Whitewater Kayaking for Women
This program for women-only takes place at our Big Eddy Campground on the West Branch of the Penobscot. If you have always wanted to learn how to whitewater kayak, here is your chance. Women instructors teach you the basics in the flatwater of Big Eddy. By the time we finish, you will have boated a section of the West Branch.

Advanced Whitewater ages 15–adult
This trip takes participants on a tour of Maine's classic rivers. Stops include the Penobscot Rapid, Magalloway, and Kennebec Rivers. Along the way, we develop skills on a variety of water conditions. River reading, advanced paddling techniques, group management, and playboating are integrated into this excursion. Participants should be comfortable paddling Class III rapids and should have a roll.
