Below you will find gear lists specific to each Coed trip. to help you prepare for wilderness trip. These lists are guidelines and though we strongly reccomend following them as close as possible, don't hesitate to contact us with questions about any item or where to find them. Please pay special attention to the fabrics specified for clothing! The items on each list are taylored specifically to the activities on that particiular trip to ensure that the participant is safe, comfortable, and well prepared. Our staff update these lists annually, taking into account the latest gear and clothing technologies as well as Chewonki's current safety policies. Some items may be available for rent from Chewonki and these are noted within each list. All trips are three weeks in length unless noted otherwise.

All participants are asked to bring at least one Chewonki Wilderness Trip T-shirt. These can be purchased from the Maine Camp Outfitters (Chewonki's Camp Catalog is sent in the pre-camp mailing each spring and contains the password you will need to order from them online). Please note the ordering deadline of May 15 to avoid possible delays.
