Custom programs we've developed with local schools:

A.P. Biology Class Ecology Experience:
This 3-day overnight program helps prepare a high school biology class for the ecology section of the Advanced Placement Examination.

Alternative Education Classroom Teambuilding:
This class comes to Chewonki one day per month for the entire school year. Our instructors work with classroom teachers and ed techs to create a program appropriate for their students.

Maine Studies Timeline:
This one-day program was designed to supplement a 3rd/4th grade class' Maine Studies Unit. Students started out with a trip to the salt marsh where they learned about glaciation and formation of the marsh 10,000 years ago and worked their way through time to the forest and current uses of the land.
