To date we have raised $278,090 in unrestricted funds. If you have already given, thank you! We must raise an additional $21,910 to reach our goal by August 31, 2010. If you have not yet contributed to our Annual Appeal 2010, a gift of any size will be gratefully received.

Tuition revenue alone can never cover the actual cost of running Chewonki’s programs, which is the reason why the Annual Appeal is so critical – because it provides crucial funds for operating support. Our largest need is for the General Fund, unrestricted dollars that can be used where Chewonki needs them most. These needs include financial aid for deserving students; tools for teaching and learning; salaries for our faculty; and maintenance for our campus in Wiscasset and our remote facilities at Big Eddy on the West Branch of the Penobscot River and Debsconeag Lake Wilderness Camps.

Gifts to the Annual Appeal can be completely unrestricted, in support of Chewonki as a whole, or designated in support of a particular program.
