Maine Coast Semester is sixteen weeks in length both for the fall and the spring terms, which generally coincide with the calendars of schools on semester systems. Students must attend the entire semester for credit, excepting special events or family emergencies. Fall semester students have a one-week break in November around Thanksgiving, and spring semester students have a one-week break in late March.
