Each student is advised by one of our full-time residential faculty members. Advisor and student meet weekly to discuss all aspects of life at Maine Coast Semester, including academic progress.

At the mid-term and at the end-of-semester, advisors write comments to the students, parents, and sending schools.  Because faculty and students spend so much time living and learning together, a great deal of informal advising and takes place at meals, while doing chores, or while sitting outside on a sunny day.
