We welcome family and friends to visit but do not have a set visitors day. Please call ahead to arrange a visit as it is common for campers to travel away from the Chewonki campus for a day or more, including cabin wilderness trips, tent days, and other special events.

We strongly discourage visits during the first and last five days of any of a child’s stay as a visit can often disrupt the start or end of the experience. Please do not visit on Sunday afternoons as campers participate in Scouting Games, which takes them out into the woods of the Chewonki Campus.
