About Chewonki
     

The Center for Environmental Education is a modern facility located on Chewonki’s 400-acre peninsula in midcoast Maine. The Center is an award-winning building available for facility rental for meetings, conferences, and school groups. The Center also houses our Traveling Natural History Programs, Pathways to a Sustainable Future and The Outdoor Classsroom for Schools.

Whether it’s for a Natural History program the first Monday of each month, a Wilderness First Aid Course in January or June, or our Renewable Energy Conference in the spring, we hope you can join us.
