Chewonki has had more than ninety years to develop an engaging blend of learning, action and ideals. Our camp maintains a relaxed atmosphere where the program is meaningful and challenging but free from high pressure and intense competition. At the close of the season, each camper returns home with real skills that provide pleasure and confidence; an understanding of the power of integrity; a deepened sense of responsibility for self, others, and the environment; and a genuine enthusiasm for the natural world.

Camp Chewonki is a magical place with a long and rich history. Each summer since 1915, Chewonki has welcomed an excited group of youngsters to our 400-acre campus for an experience that both delights them and changes their view of the world.
